Frequently asked questions

Practical answers about the company, property information, financing, due diligence, and closing.

Who operates Own Property Today?

Own Property Today is the available-land sales site operated by Olmstead Properties, LLC. Olmstead Properties manages, markets, finances, and sells land assets and was founded by JT Olmstead in 2018.

Can I pay cash or use seller financing?

Depending on the property, you may see a cash price, a seller-financed option, or both. Down payment, payment amount, interest, term, and other conditions vary by property. The current listing and written agreement control the exact terms.

How do I ask about a property?

Open the property listing and use its inquiry form, or call (520) 317-2594. Referencing the property title or parcel number helps us answer the right question quickly.

How does closing work?

The closing method and required documents are explained before you sign. Ask us about a specific property and we will explain the title, escrow, deed-recording, and payment process that applies to that transaction. The written purchase agreement controls.

What should I verify before purchasing land?

Buyers should independently verify the facts important to their plans, including parcel boundaries, legal access, zoning and permitted use, utilities, water, septic requirements, flood or environmental conditions, taxes, assessments, and any restrictions. County offices and qualified professionals can help with property-specific questions.

Are maps, boundaries, and listing details guaranteed?

No. Listing information is provided as a starting point and can change. Maps and boundary lines may be approximate. Review the available documents and independently verify material information before making a purchase decision.

Does Olmstead Properties buy land?

The current focus is managing, marketing, and selling land—not actively soliciting new properties. Olmstead Properties may review a compelling unsolicited or directly introduced opportunity case by case. Submitting an opportunity does not guarantee a review, response, or offer. Use the Olmstead Properties contact page if that describes your situation.
